GO TO SLEEP HERE: LIVERPOOL HOPE STREET HOTEL - Dreamers who Travel

When searching for luxury hotels in Liverpool for a recent staycation weekend, Liverpool Hope Street Hotel kept popping up. Once I looked at their website and their Instagram account, I knew this chic boutique was the place to book for a two night trip to Liverpool.

Liverpool Hope Street is in the Georgian quarter, opposite the Philharmonic Hall. It's about a 15-20 minute walk into the centre of Liverpool, home of Liverpool Lime Street if you're arriving by train and Liverpool One for shopping.

There is no car park on-site but they have a discounted rate at Liverpool Cathedral car park which is only a 5-minute walk away. You can pull up, drop off your bags and then park the car.

The hotel itself is modern and minimalist, built in an old listed building, all of the rooms are unique. We went for an upgrade and selected a Studio Room which is a corner room. Our room had a large bath, modern bathroom/wetroom with REN toiletries and was nice and spacious with a very comfy bed.

We did have a small balcony which would have been nice to take some photos from of the buildings of Liverpool but it seemed to have a puddle on it for our whole trip which was a shame. Everything else about the hotel was free from any issues.

Bathrobes and slippers were provided alongside a Nespresso coffee maker, pods and some biscuits.  It also had a large mirror which was perfect for selfies before a night out!

The hotel itself has had Liverpool FC football players stay and apparently Yoko Onu too, although on our stay it was relatively quiet as it was during the summer of 2020.

On-site there is the London Carriageworks a lovely and modern restaurant. We didn't eat in there but we did have a nice bottle of wine after a day of exploring the city. We had a look at the menu which had some delicious sounding food. You can also book breakfast as an add-on which can be enjoyed in the restaurant.
