Lockdown 2.0 is officially here and whilst you are spending more time at home during these winter months, we know you will be missing travel. Although you're unable to see the world, you can still bring the world's culinary delights to your home with DIY home kits.
The DIY kits usually have almost everything you need to create a culinary masterpiece which you can make from home. The fun part is, you get to eat your creation afterwards too!
Here are 5 of our favourite DIY home kits:
Breakfast en Bread
From the Barge House in London, comes Breakfast en Bread a chance to create your brunch at home. Known as @alldaybrunchers on Instagram you can order their breakfast bread rolls at to be delivered to your home. We ordered these during the first lockdown and they were our first a home kit.
We ordered the original and the Smokey Salmon, all you have to do is bake and add the egg. We followed the instructions and they came out perfectly. You don't have to enjoy them for brunch only, their website encourages you to make them at any time of the day!
Spicely Does It
Spicely Does It were creating their DIY kits before anyone could have ever considered a lockdown. Their kits are a chance to create your charcuterie & deli meats. You can make treats such as pepperoni, chorizo and bacon to cure within your own home. All you need to add is the meat, we currently have the chorizo curing as we write this.
