Lancaster is a wonderful city in Lancashire, England. It's only a 10-minute drive from the coast, not far from the Lake District and near to the Trough of Bowland which is an Area of Outstanding Beauty. There are lots of great things to do within Lancaster itself, here are 7 fun things you can do in Lancaster as a couple.

Recently I had a wonderful weekend in Lancaster staying at the Lancaster Castle View. It is the best place to stay in Lancaster for couples.I booked the cottage through Airbnb and it was a fantastic find! It's on the grounds of Lancaster Castle. The castle is a landmark which you must visit and I would recommend taking one of their free tours. With free parking at the cottage, you can leave your car for the weekend and walk around Lancaster.
